California Shelter Director Named Head of New York's Animal Care and Contol

More to come, but this just in: Julie Bank, executive director of North County Humane Society and SPCA in Oceanside, California, has been appointed Executive Director of New York City Animal Care and Control (ACC.) It is a 'homecoming' of sorts for Ms. Bank, who began her career at the ASPCA in New York City and is a graduate of Brooklyn College.
