For Staten Island Bird Brains -- Sounds Fun!

Again, too late to put on the New York Tails Calendar of Events, but also sounds fun!

Outdoor Eco-Activity
Saturday September 13
Pedaling the Park

Home to the only osprey nesting ground on Staten Island, Great Kills Park is both beach getaway and wildlife haven. Today, saddle up on your bike for a 4.5 mile pedaling eco-tour of the park led by the Staten Island Museum's Assistant Curator of Science (and helmet-wearing bike rider) Ray Matarazzo. Meet here to kick off, but don't forget to bring your helmet and a bottle of water—there's going to be some off-roading!

Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Price: Free (tour for adults only)
An 4.5 mile biking excursion through Great Kills Park, Gateway Unit, with Museum naturalist (and bike rider) Ray Matarazzo.
